day out in front. When the feature was over Fuller had pulled
in the win and found that his go-kart driving talent was easily
transferred to this new racing class.
This was my first time in a full suspension car,
said Fuller, and it was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed
getting experience in a new type of car.
The young driver, who frequently runs go-karts on dirt tracks
from New York to Virginia, ran only one set of hot laps before
winning in his heat race on Saturday. This put him on the
pole for the Micro Sprint feature where he ran out front for
the entire race and brought home the win.

Nick Lascuola Makes it Two Wins in a Row at Seekonk
Speedway
CHARLOTTE June 21, 2010 Team Full Throttle (TFT)

Toyota to win at Seekonk Speedways Fast Friday
race on June 18 in Seekonk, Mass. The 13-year-old had
the fastest lap in his feature event and has now won two weeks
in a row.
Nick started his Toyota from the third spot in his first
heat race, but it took him just three laps to put his No.
33 out front. The car was spot on, said Lascuola.
The hot weather did not seem to be a factor for my car
at all.
The win would make it his second in and row, and as in the
prior weeks, he had turned the fastest lap time of the night.
Nick was happy he could win the event in his No. 33 Toyota
on a special Fathers Day weekend. This win was
a gift to my father who spends all his free time working on
the car for me, said Lascuola. Nick will work to continue
his winning streak at Seekonk on June 25.

Eric Filgueiras Finishes First in his Class in SCCA at
Sebring
CHARLOTTE Team Full Throttle (TFT) driver, Eric Filgueiras,
marked his first run in the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA)
Formula 500 by landing a First in his class at the June
Bug Dash at Sebring International Raceway. After 10
years of karting, the young driver pulled in his first big
win of the season by wheeling his No. 12 to finish first in
his class.
It was my first race in SCCA, and we had a little trouble
with the car, said Filgueiras. But it was mostly
just getting all the bugs out. Other than that, the car felt
good. I was able to get my novice permit for the race checked
off and all was well.
Filgueiras started second in his class for the feature race,
and finished out with the class win. The feature combined
multiple classes for a total of 22 Formula cars.
The car was handling well, said Filgueiras. Im
still in the period of finding speed. But, the track felt
great and there was a good amount of grip. But, what was most
fun was to drive on such a well-known and historic race track
after ten years of karting.
Filgueiras would like to thank all of his sponsors and supporters
including Bill Simpson of IMPACT Racing, Joanna Spina of Ocean
Potion, Christopher Zdrahl of NGK Spark Plugs, Tom Baker of
Team Full Throttle, Craig Stanton of Magnus Racing, Michael
Prelec Jr. of Battery Tender, Luis Ruibal of WR Motorsports,
Todd Ballard of EPIC Action Camera, Mike McKnight of AIM,
John Hoffman of Pepsi, Junior of Maaco, Bob Harris of
K&N Air Filters Al Garcia of Homestead-Miami Speedway,
Robert Cao of Factory 1 Racing, Patrick Keene, and most importantly
Erics devoted parents, Manny & Kathy Filgueiras.
Andrew Schartner Breaks the Track Record in his Mod Lite
at Brewerton Speedway
CHARLOTTE Team Full Throttle (TFT) driver, Andrew Schartner,
had his Mod Lite car flying on Friday night at Brewerton Speedway
in Brewerton, NY. He broke the track record in his heat race
and finished the feature in the 5th spot.
In the heat race on Friday, I turned the tracks
fast lap time of 16.3 seconds, said Schartner. We
won that heat race and the car was very fast.
The track was in really good condition as we were the
first class out, added Schartner. I started the
feature about 8th and got up to about 4th before I began to
slide back in the middle of the race. The car would not handle
very well low and I was forced to run high.
Schartner ran in the top five out of the 26-car field and
finished the night in 5th. It was only his fourth time out
in this car to date.
I want to thank our sponsors Airgas, Arnolds Family
Restaurant, Bradco Supply, Richard Walton Trucking, Ukranian
National Club and Prison City Ramblers, said Schartner.
I also want to thank my crew Alan, Bob, Karl, Gary and
my car owners Bruce Corey and Tom Aaserud.
Taylor Griffith Tries His New Car on for Size at Anderson
and Lanier
CHARLOTTE Team Full Throttle (TFT) driver, Taylor Griffith,
put his brand new car to the test on Friday and Saturday as
he ran his new Semi Pro Legends No. 49 at Anderson Motor Speedway
on June 4 and Lanier National Speedway on June 5. Despite
some on-track trials, Griffith was happy with his new in-house
setup bringing home a 3rd and 6th place finish.
We put our first in house setup in the new car and
we were very pleased with the way the car handled,
said Griffith. We started sixth in the heat race on
Friday and I was running third when we got caught up in an
accident and hit the wall. The entire right front was destroyed.
But a rain delay gave us time to get all the suspension components
replaced in time for the main. The car wasnt as good
as it was before the wreck, but it was good enough to come
from last up to second for a few laps and eventually end with
a third place finish.
After staying up until 6:00 in the morning, Griffith and
his team repaired the damage from Anderson and got their setup
back where they wanted it. Even so, the car wasnt quite
the same as it had been going into the previous day.
We never could get the car fast enough to be competitive
on Saturday, said Griffith. We started on the
pole for the heat race and slid back to fourth. We finally
got the car to handle well through the turns but couldnt
get the kind of speed out of it that we wanted.
Griffith started eighth in the main on Saturday and drove
hard to pull out a sixth place finish.

Andrew Schartner captures Small
Block Supermodified Feature at Oswego Speedway
CHARLOTTE Team Full Throttle (TFT) driver, Andrew Schartner,
took the checkered flag in the Small Block Supermodified (SBS)
feature Saturday at Oswego Speedway. Surviving waves of cautions,
and transmission issues, Schartner drove his Crow Motorsports
No. 18 to his third career SBS feature win.
The transmission ended up being fine and the car was
great, added Schartner. At about lap 20 the second
and third place cars caught me and the car went real loose.
But I managed to win the three car battle for the lead and
picked up our first feature win of the year.
Special thanks go to my sponsors including Airgas,
Arnolds Family Restaurant, Bradco Supply, Richard Walton Trucking,
Ukranian National Club and Prison City Ramblers, said
Schartner. I also want to thank my crew Alan, Bob, Karl,
Gary and my car owners Bruce Corey and Tom Aaserud.
Schartner also raced his Mod Lite car Friday night at Brewerton
Spe
edway in Brewerton,
New York. He finished fourth out of a large 30 car field.

hosted by Mike Guerity and produced by Matt Tyson, under the
umbrella of GMG Communications.
"We are pleased to be working with Mike and his group,"
Baker said. "I started working on the radio show last
year and we had a great time. I'm looking forward to growing
that relationship and helping those guys build up their shows
going forward. It should be a win-win situation for everyone,
especially for our racers."
More exciting partnerships are expected to be announced in
the coming weeks as TFT seeks to create as much visibility
and media opportunities as possible for racers in the program.
